On what basis are places offered at St Mary's?

Applications are processed, and places are offered, in date order. We strongly recommend that you enrol your daughter (or son for The Peter Arney Centre for Early Learning) as early as possible by completing the Application for Enrolment Form

Priority is given to the children and grandchildren of Old Girls, the siblings of current/past students and to those seeking a boarding place.

Will my daughter have to take an entrance exam to secure a place at St Mary's?

No, St Mary's does not select students on the basis of an entrance examination. However, it is compulsory for every girl entering Year 8 to take the Scholarship Examination in late March/early April.

If, after our initial application, we change our preferred year of entry does this mean we will go to the bottom of the waiting list?

No, we will continue to use your initial application date.

Do I have to complete a separate Enrolment Application Form for each child?

Yes, a separate Application for Enrolment Form and Application Fee must be submitted for each child.
