The Board of Governors offers academic, boarding and music scholarships to students in Years 7, 8 and 10. Information about applying for these scholarships is available on the website early in the new year. A Scholarship Examination Day is held in late March or early April.
The Marlene Carter Old Girls’ Association Scholarship (for Year 8 only) and the Ethel Beaton Old Girls’ Association Scholarship (for Years 11 and 12) are awarded to the daughter or granddaughter of an Old Girl who is a current financial life member of the Old Girls’ Association.
Scholarships are awarded for a portion of the annual tuition fee and continuation is dependent upon ongoing excellence.
Financial assistance, in the form of bursaries, is available for students who may otherwise have to leave the school due to financial difficulties. Bursaries are normally awarded for secondary school only.
