The Board of Governors of St Mary's Anglican Girls' School offer a number of scholarships which cover up to half of the tuition fees for each of the five years of secondary schooling.
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of results in the Australian Council of Education Research Co-operative Entry Testing Programme taken by students while in Year 7.
Music scholarships and bursaries are based on a Music Aptitude Test and/or audition. Detailed information about Music scholarships is outlined in a separate document on our website. The P.B. Arney Scholarship for half fees is awarded to the student who achieves the highest mark in the examination.
The ACER testing programme is also used to provide the initial academic profile of all students entering Year 8. This profile is used as a guide for the organisation of mathematics classes and for counselling in language selection. It is compulsory for all students entering Year 8 in 2010 to participate in the Entry Testing Programme, whether they are currently attending St Mary’s, or will be entering for the first time.
Please register by following the procedure outlined below, no later than 27 February 2009. No late entries can be accepted.
The examination will be held on Saturday 28 March 2009 at St Mary's Anglican Girls' School beginning at 8.45am. The scholarship application fee is $95 for registrations within Australia or $295 for all registrations outside of Australia.
