SmartRider Cards and MyStudentAccount
Since 2011, Senior School students use their Transperth SmartRider debit card to purchase items from the canteen.
Funds can be placed on the card using automatic bank transfers, deposit machines, BPAY transactions and by telephone with MyStudentAccount (MSA). The funds placed on the cards will be available only for school purchases (and are separate to the funds added for Transperth fares), and provide parents with the opportunity to view spending and impose limits.
If a student needs to transfer Transperth funds from an old SmartRider card to a new card, the school cannot initiate this transfer. Transperth has to perform that transaction. For further instructions.
The school hopes to expand the cashless services past the canteen in the near future.
