From surfing to sewing, dancing to debating, the vibrant extra-curricular program at St Mary’s provides for a broad variety of student interest.
Competition at interhouse level takes place in sport, debating, public speaking, drama, dance and music. The Outdoor Education program, a fundamental part of learning at St Mary's, is centred on camps for Years 5 to 9 and Year 11, which are designed as a component of the school curriculum, aimed at delivering the best possible education for girls.

St Mary's at Metricup: The Lady Treatt Centre for Learning and Leadership provides a base for our camp program. There are countless opportunities to take part in extracurricular outdoor education. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and scuba diving off the Abrohlos Islands and Exmouth are particularly popular activities.
