Congratulations to the Class of 2019 as they excel in their WACE exams

St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School is delighted to share the outstanding results of our Class of 2019, many of whom have achieved personal best results during the recent WACE examinations.
The 2019 cohort have performed strongly across all subjects and achieved excellent scores. The students’ individual abilities, as well as the hard work, strength and academic depth of the year group, is reflected in the ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Ranks) results achieved by the students: the median ATAR for 2019 was 91.15, compared to the state median of 81.00.
St Mary’s Principal, Mrs Judith Tudball, commended the girls’ efforts,
“We are immensely proud of the Class of 2019. They are self-assured young women who have displayed dedication, passion and persistence throughout their studies, and have been rewarded with these outstanding academic results.
“Our Year 12 leavers are also to be commended for their commitment to the broader life of
St Mary’s throughout our extensive co-curricular and service-learning programs. They are empowered young women of substance and integrity, who I wish all the best as they move confidently beyond the gates to make a positive impact in their future endeavours.”

Our Elevate girls undertake study and work experience in vocational subjects that offer direct and alternative pathways to many exciting career and study options. We are delighted to acknowledge the dedication and achievements of our VET girls, including Madison Seth, who achieved an AustralianSuper Award for Excellence in Vocational Education and Training.
We congratulate all our students on their achievements and acknowledge our dedicated and inspirational teaching team for motivating and guiding the girls in pursuit of their best.
We eagerly await the announcement of award winners for General Exhibitions and Course Exhibitions, as well as Certificates of Excellence, Distinction and Merit across both ATAR and VET categories, and look forward to sharing them with our community as soon as they are available.
