On Tuesday 13 August I was delighted to be part of the school’s celebration of St Mary’s Day for the first time. The Right Reverend Jeremy James TSSF, Assistant Bishop of Perth, presided over a full school eucharist.

Last year’s Head Girl, Ruby Drake (‘18), has received an outstanding achievement award on behalf of the School at the annual Leukaemia Foundation Awards Night on Wednesday 31 July.
Ruby organised the 2018 Leukeamia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave Ponytail Chop for St Mary’s, raising $31,383.00.

A swinging good time was had by all when internationally acclaimed jazz musician, James Morrison, took the time to inspire St Mary’s music students recently.

Over the past seven years St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School and Christ Church Grammar School have travelled to Cambodia to work in the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) schools on the rubbish dump of Phnom Penh.
