Wearable Art Success

Talented Year 12 Visual Art student, Catherine, was announced as the national winner of the Wearable Art section at the Apex Australia Teenage Fashion and Arts National Awards, which took place in Melbourne on 21 October.

She has received a scholarship of $12,500 to LCI Melbourne, the Australian Academy of Design. In August, Catherine won the state section of the Teenage Fashion Awards in the Wearable Art section with her CAPAF costume. She also won the Formal Wear section with her Year 12 ball gown, which she designed and made.

Year 11 student, Misha, was awarded runner up in the National Society and Environment section of the awards.
