All students at St Mary’s attend Chapel once a week. This provides the girls with the opportunity to worship together, celebrate the Christian festivals and learn about the place of church attendance in the lives of practising Christians.

Kindergarten, Pre-primary, and Years 1 and 2 attend together, learning prayers and songs that help them develop an understanding of the Christian worship and faith.

Years 3 to 6 attend together, contributing to the services by reading the scriptures, writing and leading prayers, dramatising biblical stories and singing hymns and Christian songs.

Religious Education is taught from Kindergarten to Year 6 once a week by a specialist teacher. The aim of these lessons is to teach students about the Christian faith and its place in our daily lives.
