Out of school care
St Mary’s offers before and after school care, as well as holiday care, for Kindergarten to Year 6 students and their siblings.
Our Out of School Care Centre has use of the School’s pool, gymnasiums, tennis courts, sporting ovals and Junior School playgrounds. It also boasts a wide range of toys, games and art materials, as well as outdoor play equipment. Your child may complete homework tasks while in our care so that your family has more time to spend together at the end of a busy day.
Our staff’s approach is inspired by the My Time, Our Place national framework developed for school-age care in Australia. The framework acknowledges the importance of exploration, play and leisure in a child’s learning journey. Developing life skills and a sense of enjoyment are also emphasised.
