Enrichment and Support

We recognise that every child is unique and brings individual strengths, interests and learning needs to the classroom. We are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where all students are appropriately supported, challenged and empowered to achieve success.

Through strong partnerships between classroom teachers, specialist staff and families, we provide a responsive approach to learning that ensures every student has the opportunity to develop confidence, independence and a positive sense of self as a learner.

A Multi-Tiered Approach to Support

Our approach to student learning is guided by a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). This evidence-based framework enables us to identify student needs early, monitor progress and provide targeted support or extension opportunities where required.

At the foundation of the MTSS framework is high-quality classroom instruction delivered to all students. Through ongoing observation, assessment and data-informed decision-making, teachers respond to individual strengths and needs within the classroom environment.

For some students, additional intervention, enrichment or personalised support may be beneficial. Through a collaborative and proactive approach, we ensure students receive the right level of both support and challenge at the right time.

Academic Centre for Enrichment (ACE)

Our Academic Centre for Enrichment (ACE) plays an important role in supporting students across a range of learning needs and abilities. Working alongside classroom teachers, ACE staff provide specialist expertise, guidance and targeted learning opportunities to ensure every student can achieve her best.

Having a dedicated ACE team allows us to deliver differentiated learning experiences that support students requiring additional challenge, targeted intervention or personalised learning adjustments.

Gifted and Talented

Our Gifted and Talented program is designed to inspire and challenge students who demonstrate advanced academic potential. Through extension opportunities, differentiated learning experiences and purposeful enrichment, students are encouraged to think deeply, explore their interests and further develop their strengths.

We recognise that gifted learners often require opportunities to engage with complex ideas, creative problem-solving and higher-order thinking. Our program supports these students to remain engaged, motivated and appropriately challenged throughout their learning journey.

Academic Support

Our Academic Support program provides targeted assistance for students who may benefit from additional support in specific areas of learning. Through evidence-based interventions and personalised strategies, students are supported in building confidence, developing skills and experiencing success in the classroom.

Specialist ACE staff work collaboratively with teachers and families to ensure support is responsive, individualised and aligned with each student’s needs.

Individualised Learning Support

For some students, additional planning and adjustments may be required to support their learning and wellbeing. Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Learning Adjustment Plans (LAPs) are developed collaboratively with families, teachers and specialist staff to ensure appropriate goals, strategies and supports are in place.

This personalised approach helps students access learning, build confidence and achieve success while feeling valued and supported within the school community.
