Strategy
In 2021, our School celebrated 100 years of girls discovering their best. Our Strategy: 2021–2025 guided the School into its second century, articulating a clear vision for the future and affirming our overarching purpose: ‘To Engage Hearts and Ignite Curious Minds.’
The 2021–2025 Strategy was shaped by five interconnected strands, designed to foster a respectful, supportive and connected community in which students and staff could thrive in their pursuit of personal, academic and professional excellence. Working closely with students, staff and our wider community, these strategic priorities strengthened the foundations of learning, wellbeing and leadership across the School.
Building on this strong platform, the School has now adopted a refreshed Strategic Plan for 2026–2028. This refreshed plan is a refinement rather than a reinvention. It maintains our mission, values and overarching purpose, while providing greater clarity and focus for the next phase of our work.
Our strategic direction reflects both continuity and progress, ensuring that St Mary’s remains well-positioned to support each girl in discovering her best.

Masterplan
Another component of our outlook for St Mary’s exciting future is our Masterplan 2019-2030, which is a blueprint for the evolution of our Karrinyup campus.
We are committed to investing in the improvement of our school buildings and infrastructure so that our students can study in the very best surroundings, benefitting from inspirational facilities for all manner of activities, both inside and outside the classroom.
