Parents’ Society commits significant gifts to benefit students

POSTED November 4 2026 , News, Senior School

The St Mary’s Parents’ Society has announced two generous gifts that will enrich the experience of students across the School, supporting both future-focused learning and student wellbeing.

The Parents’ Society has committed significant funding for new playground equipment in the Junior School, helping ensure future generations of girls continue to enjoy a safe, engaging and inspiring environment to learn, play and belong.

In addition, they will sponsor the Marine Science Suite within the School’s new Science, Enterprise, Technology and Innovation (SETI) Centre. The suite will include a specialist Marine Science Laboratory and Tank Room, creating exciting opportunities for hands-on learning and discovery within one of the School’s flagship programs.

Together with the contributions of many donors supporting the SETI Centre project, these gifts demonstrate a shared belief in every girl’s potential, from the youngest learners in Junior School to those who will one day pursue their passions within the SETI Centre and beyond.

Funded through the Parents’ Society contributions made by families at the commencement of each school year, these donations reflect the collective generosity, vision and commitment of our parent community to create meaningful opportunities for current and future students.

The School extends its sincere gratitude to the Parents’ Society for its ongoing commitment to enriching the educational experience of current and future generations of students.
